The EV maker you have never heard of, Bollinger Motors, will start production of its rugged EV trucks next year, and it’s already planning ahead of that. Bollinger has given the public an early look at its electric delivery van, named ‘Deliver-E.’ The EV startup has only released a few renders of the design at the moment, but the renders let you see what the they have planned.
Bollinger will make the EV van available in multiple sizes with various battery configurations. It’s slated to have a range of 200 miles. The little-known EV maker says it will make variants that are ‘engineered to fit Classes 2B, 3, 4, and 5.’ Having that kind of flexibility will help Bollinger out-shine its many rivals in the crowded electric van market.
Bollinger’s Deliver-E is a van you can walk in, featuring an 18-inch step-in height. The company says that that’s the lowest step-in height in the industry. The new EV will be provided with up to 100 kW DC fast charging and will have universal charging ports. Deliver-E will go into production some time in 2022.
Introducing DELIVER•E, the all-electric platform solution for delivery and medium-duty truck fleets. The front-wheel drive, all-electric DELIVER•E platform will be engineered to fit Classes 2B, 3, 4, and 5.
