VoLTE stands for ‘Voice over LTE‘. It’s a technology that you to place a phone call over your LTE data connection, rather than the older legacy voice network.

Avoiding the classic telephone network, and relying on a pure data connection makes your calls sound much better.

Have you ever noticed that even though your phone was made in 2020, when you call someone, their voice sounds like they are calling from 1965?

That’s because modern phones still use a very, very old way of sending and receiving audio. Now, however, VoLTE is starting to change that.
