Moto G9 Plus Price
The price of the Moto G9 plus is expected to be around $300 USD. That’s a pretty good bargain considering what all you get for your money.
Hardware
G9 Plus CPU
The Motorola G9 Plus will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC (System on Chip). The Snapdragon 665 is an 8 core processor made up of four Cortex A73+ cores running at 2.0GHz and four Cortex A53 cores running at 1.8GHz. The ARM Cortex A73+ is actually a quite powerful CPU. This phone having four of them at its disposal should make it rather snappy.
G9 Plus Graphics
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 has an Adreno 610 GPU built-in. The Adreno 610 based on the Adreno 600 architecture like the Adreno 630, which means it is fully compatible in software. In benchmarks, the Adreno 610 is positioned between the old Adreno 510 and Adreno 612
The Adreno 610 fully supports modern standards such as Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2, and DirectX 11.
G9 Plus Display
The new smartphone will have a 6.5″ HD+ (720 x 1560) IPS display, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, up to 128GB of flash storage. No, you won’t find a Quad HD Super AMOLED panel, here. You will, however, find a crisp IPS panel display with excellent viewing angles and surprisingly inky blacks.
Battery
Also across all models, the Motorola G9 plus will have a massive 4,700 mAh battery. That is pretty large considering the Samsung Galaxy S20 only has a 4,000 mAh battery.
G9 Plus Software
The Motorola G9 Plus will come with Android 10 out of the box. This is to be expected from a manufacturer such as Moto. Motorola has always been really quick with software updates and has a long track record of releasing phones with the latest versions of Android. On the front, you’ll find a hole-punched selfie camera, that is expected to use a 16MP sensor.
