Kendall Toerner (not officially affiliated with Tesla) has designed what he refers to as the Tesla Model B e-bike concept. Like actual Tesla products, it breaks with common conventions and it even has an autopilot.

While this design looks very ‘Tesla’, there are not actually any concrete references to a Tesla bike. This is basically a hyped-up fan creation.

The Model B forms a bridge between conventional bicycles and road-vehicles, with a design that, like cars, is designed to be safer, more efficient, and less energy-intensive. The Model B’s sleek frame comes with forward, side-facing, and rear proximity and LiDAR sensors that scan the surroundings to create a protective bubble around the rider, alerting them of any obstacle. Each wheel comes with its own dedicated motor, forming the Model B’s dual-drive system. Spokes on the wheels are replaced by shock-absorbers, helping keep your ride smooth.

Instead of conventionally controlling moving the handlebars, this still concept e-bike steers by exerting pressure on the handlebar grips. As more pressure is exerted, the wheel turns more. The frame has a small display embedded in it that gives you battery stats and other information.

There are radar and ultrasonic sensors along with cameras that are installed around the frame to help you remain safe. And yes. This thing has autopilot.

In certain situations, the concept e-bike could take control for you and make the best our of the situation. The sensors are able to detect bikes, cars potholes, bumps and other objects. It’s even got an independently powered fork shaft.
