Are Apple Products Really Worth the Money? (comparison between Apple Iphone 12 and LG K31)

Why should you buy a phone that has a starting price of $800 if you could buy a new phone with a starting price of $150?

Apple, unlike many other tech companies, has a loyal fanbase. When Apple releases a new phone, many people are dying to get it. But, these products are costly so are they really worth the cash?

In August of 2020, LG released a new model of phone that can be considered fairly cheap. For the asking price of $150 you can get a 5.7″ HD display, a 5 MP 120° Super Wide Rear Camera, and a Long Lasting 3,000 mAh Battery. Yes, this is cheap but are you paying for cheap plastic or a reliable phone?

The Comparison

The Apple Iphone 12 has a resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels, while the LG K31 has a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The Iphone 12 also has more available storage, while the Iphone has a capacity of 256GB the LG K31 has a measly 32GB.

The Reviews

While the Iphone 12 receives mostly positive reviews with some negative reviews stating that “the company has ran out of ideas” and “the camera glitches.” The LG K31 receives mixed reviews with many saying that the interface is terrible and the overall usability is a disaster. And the positive reviews saying that you can’t beat the price of $150.

Why Does Apple Make the Most Phone Sales?

Apple’s fanbase is loyal, It would be hard to switch an apple user to Android. The upside to Apple is that their products is “User Friendly” and can appeal to many people through their adds. Another upside to Apple is that their phones is good quality, this makes the Apple customer want to come back when it’s time to get a new phone.

The Conclusion, Which Product you Should Invest Your Money In

Both Phones have pros and cons. Apple makes high quality products, at a high cost, while LG makes Phones that get the job done at extremely low cost. What It really comes down too is how you yourself look at a phone. If either you look at a phone to help you in everyday life. Or as a device to just communicate and take a few photos every now and then.
