Rumors are starting to surface online showing what are supposedly some early renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The design shows a curved display surface. It is supposed to be a little smaller screen though, at 6.55 inches.

The OnePlus 9 Will Have a Camera Bump

Also, the OnePlus 9 is rumored to also have a Note 20-like camera bump. The Pro version will have as many as four cameras.

We still don’t know very much about the specs, and this recent leak has not shed any more light on the subject. As far as we know, OnePlus is expected to use the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series SoC (System on Chip).

The OnePlus 9 Pro H3 is on The Horizon

It’s rumored that OnePlus is introducing the 9 Pro sometime in March. The 9 Pro design is not finalized. It could still change over the next few months. Also, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is definitely complicating things for several industries.

Year after year there has been a huge amount of innovation in the smartphone sector. These tiny pocket computers are getting more and more powerful by the minute. This is where I would say something witty about how the smartphone processor in your pocket will soon out-class the one in your desktop PC. But…

I cannot say that now. This is because of the Apple M1. In the M1, Apple took the efficiency of a mobile chip and combined it with the power of a desktop part. So, because of that, smartphone performance will stay behind that of the desktop PC. Of course, if we left it up to Intel, we would be in a serious situation. We would be stuck with no innovation and no performance gains. Thanks ARM. Thanks Apple.
